        Somewhere it has been said that “those who can’t do it, teach it, explain it or improve it, become critics or consultants.” Both Younginer Engineered Products and Younginer Marketing Resources were founded and developed by individuals who wanted to perform using use market-sensible methodologies for results and success.

        In 1993, Younginer Marketing Resources was founded as direct result of the success that Younginer Engineered Products experienced in the custom job-shop manufacturing and representation market. As Player-Coaches, we are able to directly relate to the supplier / market needs, and more importantly, understand the changes needed minus the fluff and busy work.

        Marketing has four basic steps. The first two are development and the later two the hardest; implementation.

¨ Interview the Market and determine the Need(s) and Opportunity(s).

¨ Create the Response and Action(s) – Market Plans.

¨ Implement the Market Plan(s).

¨ Review the Results of the Plan(s) and modify, change, enhance.

        The backbone of the United States manufacturing matrix is the privately owned and entrepreneurial-based job shops. These companies bring their technologies and spirit to the arena with ideas and a desire to build business for the local economies and families who support them. Many owners of these companies consider that they have a fiduciary responsibility to the community and employee families. But competing with the new global marketplace, and having good margin returns is more difficult than ever. To support  these companies, YMR was formed. We can support the current marketing and sales leadership, or take total responsibility where this is none on a contract time basis.
